A nice heart felt comedy about a gangster duo who must leave their ways behind in order to get the girl of on their dreams and stand up for what is right using the hardest to maneuver weapon of all- nonviolence. This is one of those movies. You know, those movies that make you feel all bubbly inside, give you power and confidence but ultimately you never act upon these ideas. I always find these types of movies a little depressing but still worth a watch.

Munna Bhai is the main character who is aided by the image of Mahatma Gandhi who teaches him Gandhian philosophy and his pal/sidekick Circuit who is also not the brightest canyon in the box but one of the loyalest. This movie teaches us that you can overcome people and obstacles bigger and stronger than you with unfaltering will power and a touch of kindness for your oppressors. I loved this movie because it teaches a serious lesson with the use of two goons and a houseful of elderly men. What could go wrong, right? Lage Raho Munna Bhai is a must go see for all people, Indian or not, because the ideas of Gandhia apply to the world as a whole. You will cry, laugh, and learn to be a kinder person.

PLOT: A hilarious underworld gangster known as Munna Bhai falls comically in love with a radio host by the name of Jahnvi, who runs an elders' home, which is taken over by an unscrupulous builder, who gets the residents kicked out ironically with the help of Munna's sidekick, Circuit, while Munna is busy romancing Jahnvi elsewhere. Munna, who is now masquerading as a Professor specializing in the life of Mahatma Gandhi, must now battle his very own forces and the builder - but he has one ally on his side - none other than the great man - Mahatma Gandhi himself. Only trouble is that Munna may have problems convincing everyone about this presence - as he is apparently is the only one who can see and hear him.
