Yes I know I'm a little late for posting this episode of Skins but this was the worst season so far. My Gosh! What were the writers thinking when they wrote this. I just hope for us fans they have something big planned for season 6 to make up for the utter crap this season was. I mean the first episode looked so promising :( .  Anyway, I'm just going to post the episode summary from wiki instead of writing my own considering the I'm so late on the posting. I am also going to combine  E7 and E8 on one post.

Rich spends the night at Grace's house to find that her father is Professor Blood. Mr and Mrs Blood discover Rich trying to sneak out across the garden, to Mr Blood's great disaproval. Mr Blood then drives Grace to school, telling her that she can live her life however she pleases, but if her grades drop she will be forced to go to boarding school. Grace is directing Twelfth Night for a college examination, all of the gang are involved, but Liv makes Matty quit the play with her when a love scene between Matty and Franky makes her suspicious. Grace invites her to a girl's night in to reassure her that everyone still loves her. Later, Professor Blood calls Rich into his office and tells him that he can make Rich's life easier if he purposefully acts badly in the play to make Grace fail, leading her to being sent away. Rich goes to dinner at Grace's house - it is very awkward and Rich tells Grace that he feels like she acts different with her parents. The girls then come over and end up taking cocaine. Mini then brings up the question of Franky's sexuality, and Franky says she's just into people. Liv suspiciously asks her who she is into at the moment, but Grace changes the subject. They all go to a club, meeting up with Matty and Rich. Mini and Franky approach two unnattractive men as a laugh, but one man becomes too forward with Franky. Matty sees and tries to intervene, ending up in an argument with Liv. Rich is drunk and vomits in the club. Grace tries to take him home, when Rich says that he doesn't know the real Grace and walks home angrily by himself. They continue the argument in the morning at rehearsal, where Rich confesses that he doesn't know if they are right for each other. Later, while reciting from Hamlet, Grace gains confidence and makes Matty rejoin the play, where he says that he loves Liv. Grace then goes to Liv where Liv reveals insecurities about what the group think of her. During the assessed performance of the play, Liv goes backstage and questions Matty on whether he loves Franky. Matty can't answer. Liv tells him that he must forget about her. After the play, Grace's parents inform her that she is going to be sent to boarding school anyway, ending with her arguing with both them and Rich. At night, Rich goes to Grace's house and serenades her with lines from Romeo and Juliet. Once in her room, through tears he asks her to marry him. She replies with Miranda's speech from the Tempest: "O wonder! How many godly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world! That has such people in it"

Rich prepares for his forthcoming wedding by getting a new haircut - but he's misunderstood by the hairdresser, who gives him the 'Justin Bieber' style. Meanwhile, Franky gives Grace a wedding dress that she's made for her and a wedding cake that her adoptive father baked, while Liv and Mini do Grace's hair and make up. Mini begins to realize that she has a crush on Franky, and goes round to Matty's house to tell him to 'stay away from her'. Mini becomes increasingly overprotective of Franky throughout the episode. The gang set off on the long journey to the church in Alo's van. However, the van crashes, causing Franky to fall on top of Matty. Matty hands Franky a note, saying that his feelings for her are 'something that he can't stop'. The gang take drugs, before Grace & Rich manage to get a lift to the church with a hippy couple, leaving the others to walk the rest of the way. Professor Blood has found out by this time that Grace has left (he's fitted her with a tracking device) and has set off to find her. Franky discovers that Mini went to Matty's house, and leaves Mini with Alo and Nick. She carries on the journey with Liv and Matty, and they end up in a village hall, where they steal wine. Liv feels Franky up to see Matty's reaction. Meanwhile, Nick gets his foot stuck in a rabbit trap. Liv and Matty fight, causing Franky to leave. Matty runs after her, and they end up nearly having sex, but Franky has a panic attack and runs off a cliff. She almost falls, but Mini, Liv and Matty find her and pull her to safety. She reveals just how insecure she is to the others, and how she feels 'different'. Eventually, they all get to the church, but Professor Blood turns up. Grace and Rich decide that they won't get married and will just stay as a normal couple. The gang round off the day at a local gig, where Matty and Liv decide to break up amicably, and Franky and Matty share a hug.

Yes I know I didn't cover episode five of this season but I really just wasn't in the mood to blog that day. So maybe I'll fit it in later, or not. I got all of screen caps. So yeah! For some reason I didn't like this episode too much. It just fell a little flat compared to the other Skins episodes.  Definitely not my favorite. 


It's Alo's birthday, but his parents don't care. Instead of letting him hang with his friends in town they make him work on the farm. Alo's dad and farmhand try to teach him how to drive a tractor but things don't go as planned and Alo's dad lets him run off to be with his friends. His domineering mother finds out and plans to withdraw him from college. She succeeds and Alo must work at the farm. Instead of doing his tasks he hides in Bessy's, the cow,  stable. While smoking he accidentally drops his light onto a tank of propane, blowing Bessy and most of the stable up. His mother and father take everything of Alo's to be sold, including his beloved dog and van. Angry and pass the point of no return, Alo fills condoms with his family's entire flour and egg produce and invites the gang over for a flour and egg fight. After the fight the gang calls most of the college over for a party with the intent of trashing the house. At the party, Mini reveals that she knows that Franky is in love with Maddie. Franky is flirted with by a total stranger who she ends up pushing away. He calls her a dike. Nick confronts the guy as Franky storms off. Liv tries to console her and asks about her sexuality. Liv sees Franky is clearing uncomfortable with the question so she drops the it. Alo's parents arrive to a trashed house and a hundred teens running away from the house after Alo revealed that his father had guns. Alo confronts his father for being a pussy whipped bitch, in layman's terms. Lol.  Alo's dad collapses on the ground due to medical problems unknown to Alo till now. 

Alo goes to Nick's house and sits next to Mini who comforts him. Alo leaves saying shes "alright". Franky walks upstairs to see Matty and Liv having sex in the bathroom, she leaves in tears. Mattie sees her but doesn't mention it to Liv.  Alo walks to Rich's house with the intent of them running away together like they had talked about in earlier years. Rich is excited to say that him and Grace finally did it and that being grown up is the shit. Alo leaves without telling Rich the reason he came. At the hospital, Alo sees his dog. The farmhand divulges that his father had stood up to the mother and stopped her from getting rid of the dog. Alo returns home to his mother and promises to "grow up", and demands for her to be less of an control freak. At the end of the episode Alo and his father have mended their relationship.

Liv's mom is weird. I just want to say that first. LOL

While Liv's mother is gone, Mini decides to have a get together at Liv's house to makeup to everyone that she has hurt. She apologizes to Franky, Grace, Liv, and the rest of the gang while claiming that she has no memory of the night at the rave when she witnessed Liv and Nick getting dressed after sex. Liv and Nick have continued their secret sexual relationship. Liv knows it is wrong but she can't help herself.  

Mini brought a bag of drugs and Liv is supplying the alcohol. While making a drink, Mini hints that she remembers the night at the rave by saying that she wouldn't want Liv to ruin things after all. Using a need to go and get cherries for the drinks Liv takes her younger sister and leaves the house. She brings her sister to a 24 hour scifi movie theater and tells her she will be back to get her later. Liv goes to visit her eldest sister in jail seeking advise about Nick. The sister is of no help and Liv leaves frustrated. While sitting on a bus bench she comes across Mattie (the strange guy that stops Franky from shooting the gun in the first episode of Skins). Liv has no clue who he is but one thing leads to another and the two spend the night together getting drunk and high with plans to run away together. Liv and Mattie wake up on the roof of a night club the next morning after sex. Liv and Mattie go back to the house full of her high friends with the intent of grabbing some clothes and taking a bus somewhere. Liv walks in to see Mini and Nick having sex in her bed. Nick recognizes Mattie as his brother.  Nick tells Liv to not believe anything Mattie has told her and it is revealed that Liv and Nick have been having a sexual relationship. Everyone leaves, but Franky was laying behind the couch and is there to show Liv a video tape of Mini and Liv as preteens being the best of friends. Liv's younger sister walks in disappointed and mad at Liv for not coming to get her. Liv feels that she has hit rock bottom.

Mattie is at the bus station waiting to leave when Liv approaches to apologize. Mattie will not accept till she drinks a full bottom of alcohol, resulting in him catering to Liv as she pukes up the alcohol all night long.  Mini and Liv meet at a park in order to make peace. Liv pleads forgiveness, saying that she will do anything for it. Mini hands her a bottle of alcohol, after Liv drinks it all Mini tells her that she hopes she dies from kidney failure and storms off. Sad and in complete despair Liv comes home to a disappointed mother.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't write this right after the original airing but I got lazy. My bad, homies. Anyway, you really kinda start to feel bad for Mini in this episode. She tries so hard to be perfect in every way: body and reputation. Her mother isn't any help either because she feeds right into her.

Mini is director of the school fashion show for charity. Franky and Grace have decided to team up and create deigns. Out of pride, Mini yells at Grace and makes herself and Nick the head of the fashion show. Nick is trying to sweet talk his way into Mini's pants, but she is reluctant to give in because she is a virgin. Mini puts off the sex for as long as she can with distractions and excuses. Nick is totally unaware that Mini has not lost her V-card and thinks she has had more partners than him. After a night of drinking, Mini wakes to see Liv and Nick sleeping on the floor together. She misunderstands the situation. Mini is told to leave the fashion show when she faints from the stress of seeing that the clothes do not fit the models, the show is not fully choreographed, and Nick and Liv together practicing the show. Fearing that she will lose Nick she decides to finally have sex with him. Mini returns to the show to see Grace and Franky's designs being used for the show. Later at a rave, Mini confronts Liv about Nick and the two fight till Mini storms out. The rave results in Liv and Nick hooking up and Rich and Grace getting together and sealing the deal with a kiss. Mini saw Nick and Liv getting dressed after sex and persuades Nick to go home with her. Mini loses her virginity and sadly returns home the next day.

This episode is all about Rich the lanky fellow with an enormous love for metal music, a metal head as he calls himself. Alo is convinced that Rich needs a girlfriend who is also a metal head so that he won't cramp his style with the normal dumb blonds that Rich hates. Frankie asks Grace for help with Rich, but is stopped in her tacks by Mini. Grace follows Mini and Liv out the door as if the night at the pool never existed. Grace was not tiring to be two-faced or phony toward Frankie, but after all she has been friends with Liv and Mini much longer. She just doesn't want to piss anyone off.

Grace finds Rich and talks him into letting her help him with the angel of death, a.k.a the metal head at the library. Rich takes Graces to the metal music store for a taste of the metal head ways Above the shop owner's head is the legendary golden record that is said to be so deep that to some people it sounds like nothing but white noise.

Grace, the self proclaimed actress, becomes the metal head of Rich's dreams when she walks into a bar dress to kill. Rich confronts her about her status as a follower of Queen Mini. The Angel of Death turns Rich down with a wave of distasteful comments.

Furious at Alo, Rich takes the money that he was supposed to spend of his mother's birthday present and bought the golden record for 500 pounds. Rich pumps up the volume till he blasted his ear drums.Unknowing if his hearing will come back he goes to Grace's ballet recital.  Rich tells her she danced beautifully and they head to Rich's metal  concert. Grace coward surf and Rich sees Grace in a whole other light. The next day at school Rich arrives with flowers for Grace and the hope of asking her out. Though Grace likes Rich, she gently turns him down before he can even ask her out.

Skins season 5 just started last Thursday. As an Skins fan since season 1, I was busting at the idea of a new generation. I will always miss generation two because of the love triangle between Effy, Cook, and Freddie. Freddie and Cook were freaking hot. They made the season what it was. I still have love for Katie, Naomi, Panda, Thomas, etc. I'll have to review the generation at a later date, but for now it's time to move on to generation 3!

We are introduced to Franky, a shy androgynous teen, and her two dads. Franky is new to Bristol and is preparing for her first day at her new school when she becomes the target of a group of boys who mock her clothing and repeatedly ask what is it a boy or girl? One of the bullies knocks down her book. When she comes back up from getting the book she hits the main bully in the face and runs off. The boys chase after her. Franky hops onto a motorized scooter and causes a commotion in the school court yard where she meets Mini, Grace, and Liv for the first time.

Later at lunch, Alo and Rich come up to Franky in an effort to be friends but are told to leave by the approaching Mini and her gang. Mini  invites Franky to hang out with them. She swiftly refuses and locks herself in the bathroom. Later on she accepts the invite and the four head to the mall. In the center of the mall there is a group of dancers, Grace runs up and joins in. Franky and Liv follow. Mini is left in the crowd, but soon walks off pissed that her friends are dancing with Franky and paying no attention to Mini.

At a makeup stand, Grace puts makeup on Franky who has never worn any in her life. Mini forces Franky to buy a purple glittery dress to wear to her party. Franky hates the dress but takes it anyway. Grace steals a necklace for Franky and the group are seen running through the mall with cops chasing after. On the way to Franky's house one of her dad's approaches thinking that the girls are bullying Franky, shocked to find out that they are her friends he invites them in for a snack. When left alone, Mini sneaks onto the family computer and sees a friendbook (Facebook) page with horrible pictures of Franky being terrorized and made fun of at her old school. The page is loaded with nasty comments from other students.

The next day at school, Franky wears the makeup Liv got her and tries her best to look girlish. After English class, Franky is horrified to see the nasty pictures from the friendbook page posted all over the school by Mini's boyfriend Nick. Franky storms off and tried to blow off some steam by shooting a replica revolver. She is approached by a mysterious young man who tells her shes beautiful. He does not reveal his identity but tells her he'll see her soon. At home, Franky burns the dress Mini got her and heads to her party in a suit and tie. Mini yells at her to leave and reveals that the only reason they hung out with her was out of pity, though, Grace and Liv really liked her.  Franky leaves and Grace follows. Alo, Rich, and Grace kidnap Franky and bring her to a local swimming pool. Franky has finally found friends of her own.
