Just your plain gangster-cop-romance movie. It's not even worth a watch on a free weekend, more like my computer won't work and I don't own any other DVDs type movie. I'm shocked this was such a big blockbuster. Trust me there are better Telugu films with similar story lines (Ex: Pokiri... even if I hated Ileana in this). I suggest you look on of those up instead of this. Ravi Teja improved his rep for me on the positive side of this film. The last film I saw of his was that utter Joke
Kick of which I HATED with a passion. If I had been blogging back then I would have slammed that film. I couldn't even look at Ravi because he wore those cheap orange looking colored contacts. Ileana just can't act. Shes eye-candy and nothing more. No dept what so ever. ANYWAY, I didn't post this just to explain why I didn't like
Kick and Ileana. Mirapakaay has very noticeable plot holes even for Tollywood. The first half made the film very promising but the second half failed to impress.
PLOT: Rishi (Ravi Teja) is an inspector in the Intelligence Bureau. His colleagues fondly call him 'Mirapakaay'. The chief of the IB, Narayana Murthy (Nagababu) gets information that Kittu Bhai (Prakash Raj), a mafia don, is trying to spread his tentacles in India and is targeting Delhi first. During the course of the investigation, ACP (Sanjay Swaroop) is killed by Shankar (Kota Srinivasa Rao), a local goon with the help of his son (Supreet). Murthy sends Rishi to Hyderabad and gets him admitted to a college as a Hindi lecturer as part of an undercover operation. Rishi meets Vinamra (Richa Gangopadhyay) at a temple & falls in love at first sight. Incidentally, she studies in the same college and in the same class to which Rishi teaches Hindi. Their love blossoms. At this juncture, Vaishali (Deeksha Seth), daughter of Kittu Bhai, joins the same college. Grabbing the opportunity, the IB chief asks Rishi to extract information about Kittu from Vaishali.
