It's a decent slower paced thriller with a surprising twist. I don't think I would want to watch this again on my free time, but it's worth at least one watch for most of you. Great acting on Vidya Balan's part and amazing Kathak skills. Akshay Kumar played an awesome zany doctor. He's by far my favorite character. Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal also had great comedic performances. Bhool Bhulaiya (The Maze) is a remake of Manichithrathazhu (1993) (Malayalam). Other remakes include Aaptamitra(Kannada),Chandramukhi(Telugu), Chandramukhi(Tamil), Rajmohol (Bengali).
I have a few remaining questions for the film. I had hella bad subtitles so maybe this was explained in the movie.
Spoiler! If the ghost was not real and this was all in Avni's head what happened to Girja (Kaveri Jha)? What did she see that has caused her not to speak all these years?
